New stars to join ‘Setayesh 3’ series

Iranian series ‘Setayesh’ is slated to replace some stars.

The third season of ‘Setayesh’ series directed by Saeed Soltani is to have new thespians.

Yaser Hagh-Shenas is to replace Ramsin Kebriti who starred as Saber and Laleh Marzban is to star as Setayesh’s daughter as Hadis Miramini rejected to go on with the cast.

A plot summary for ‘Setayesh’ season 1 reads, “Taher has just finished two years of military service, defending Iran against Saddam Hussein's war of aggression. His friend, who's deserted the frontline, wants Taher to help smuggle him out of the country.”

Despite his better judgment, and at the insistence of his friend's sister, Setayesh, he agrees. Taher and Setayesh eventually grow fond of each other and make plans to marry. But a tragedy causes a great gap between their families that threatens to keep the two from ever finding happiness together.

Mohammadi stars as the female lead in the original ‘Setayesh' alongside veteran Iranian actor Arjmand.
